Zvents was founded by Ethan Stock and Tyler Kovacs in March 2005. Frustrated with how time-consuming and difficult it was to discover events in the Bay Area, the idea for Zvents was born.

Zvents is a privately held company funded by NetService Ventures, Red Rock Ventures, and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
