Zvents Appoints Robert Krohn As Vice President of Engineering
Former Juniper Networks Executive and Entrepreneur To Lead Engineering Team
San Mateo, CA - September 25, 2007 - - Zvents, the local search engine for things to do, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of Robert Krohn as Vice President of Engineering. Krohn, who has over 15 years of systems engineering and management experience, will oversee the engineering development, quality assurance, and operations of Zvents' local search web service, as well as provide technical vision to the company.

Most recently, Krohn founded and led My Digital Life (MDL), a software startup company uniting the worlds of smartphones, consumer electronics, and online services. Prior to MDL, Krohn held various positions ranging from business development, platform engineering, and software engineering management at top tier Silicon Valley companies. He was a senior director at Juniper Networks and has held management and individual contributor roles at Nexsi Systems, Electronics for Imaging, Xerox AODS, and Hewlett Packard.
Robert Krohn earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Digital Systems and Computer Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in Australia.
